Full-time laboratory technician needed to support the activities of an active neurobiology laboratory in the Department of Biology at York College of the City University of New York. Our laboratory research focuses on the microcircuitry of the vertebrate retina. Responsibilities include imaging and analyzing retinal cells, performing immunohistochemical experiments, mixing solutions, and ordering lab supplies. Applicants familiar with neurobiology lab techniques, and experience with confocal and electron microscopy will be preferred. Successful candidate will have a BA/BS in biology or neurobiology.
